Deangelo Hall Has 4 Interceptions in Week 7, Ties NFL Record
Washington Redskins CB Deangelo Hall had four interceptions in Week 7 versus the Chicago Bears, tying the NFL record and becoming only the sixth player to have four interceptions in one game:
Hall tortured a hapless Jay Cutler, catching all four of his interceptions and returning one for a 92 yard touchdown in the 17-14 win in Chicago.
It has been nearly a decade since the last four interception game, when Broncos cornerback Deltha O'Neal had four in a 2001 Week 4 win versus Kansas City. Hall is only the second cornerback to achieve the record, and only the third player to both catch four interceptions and return an interception for a touchdown.
Statistics are based on games since the AFL-NFL merger of 1970. Not surprisingly, in every game a player has racked up four interceptions, their team has won.
You can customize and export NFL games sorted by interceptions made since 1970 on the most interceptions caught page.
